Description
This iconic party drink is a wonderful introduction to gin if you’re not a gin person (or if you think you’re not a gin person ?).
It’s impossible to describe in one word, but if I must, “delightful” comes to mind. (And zesty, whimsical, elegant, bubbly, bright, and beautiful…you get it.) It’s named after the French 75 millimeter field gun, a portable cannon used by the French and Americans in World War I that became a symbol of hope. Pretty cool, right?
By the way, it’s also a perfect upgrade to the classic mimosa. It’s equally delicious served in a coupe or on the rocks.
